- About the Event
On the night of February 5, 2016, Jenna and her grandfather Mike (Stump) Dale died due to smoke inhalation when their house caught fire. This run is in memory of them with the proceeds being used to build and dedicate a playground in her name. The race starts and finishes at the future site of the playground. This playground will be located just a 1/4 mile from where they lived.
Cost
$20 per person thru June 18th (includes t-shirt)
$25 per person after June 18th and day of race (no t-shirt guaranteed)
$10 per person kiddie run (t-shirt included)

Parking
Parking will be provided at Chicago Corner Church.
Registration Times & Details
Registration will be from 8:45am-9:45am ***Registration and packet pickup closes at 9:45am***
1 mile Kiddie Run will start at 9:30am (BEFORE THE 5K). Participants of kiddie race will receive awards.
Awards
Awards will be given to the top 3 in the following age group:14 & under, 15-19,
20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & over
The course will be approximately 70% road, 30% grass. We will start at the playground behind Chicago Corner Church and run south on County Road 850 East for a mile. Then participants will run around the lake at Farmers Pike Festival and back north on County Road 850 East to finish at the playgound. The course has two fairly good sized hills.
The Local Fire Department will be closing the road to vehicular traffic during the race.
