This 40 year old race offers something for both competitive and casual runners alike.  If you are running your first 5K or trying to achieve a PR this is the race for you.  The race starts and finishes at Glen Hall Park adjacent to the American River and the course winds you through the shaded streets of River Park.  Short porta-potty lines, plenty of post race goodies , a great goodie bag and a tech shirt make this event a runners delight.
