Legends of the Redwoods 2016...

• 10K Run:- Run 6.2 Miles
• 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

This event is in celebration of the Native American Ultra-Marathon Races from San Francisco to Grants Pass, Oregon in 1927 & 1928.  This year the event will benefit the Striders' Ukiah Youth Running Program and the Ukiah High School running teams.  The fast, flat out-and-back courses feature a well-maintained gravel road through Beckstoffer vineyards and paved Ruddick/Cunningham road.  Ruddick/Cunningham road parallels the Russian River and the original Redwood Highway used by the 1920s Legends.  URLs for interactive route maps are: 5K - http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=6847221 and 10K - http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=6847231

Participants in the 5K may choose to run, walk or a combination.  Prizes will be based on fastest times.

Schedule: 7:00 - 8:00 am Registration, 8:00 am start of both events, 9:45 Awards presented.
Awards for 1st, 2nd, 3rd male/female Overall and All Age Divisions male/female for both events.

Age divisions: 0 to 9, 10 - 13, 14 - 17, 18 - 29, 30 - 39, 40 - 49, 50 - 59, 60 - 69, 70+
