4 Mile ALL ROAD race (New This Year)

Participants run a 4-Mile course on road surface along the Gulf throughout the race.  Course is flat, flat, flat.

Original ADVENTURE Run

Participants run 2 miles road on road surface followed by 2.5 miles beach sand. Each participant wears a Flag football belt throughout the race. On the beach portion of the race, "SHARKS" will try to steal the flags. Each participant is given the opportunity to recover the stolen flags. Participants must have flags intact when crossing the finish line to order to eligible for awards.

1 Mile Adventure Run

Participants run an out and back course entirely on the beach. Each participant where a Flag football belt and will be chased by "Sharks"

Race time - 7 AM - beat the heat!

Online registration will close at 11 PM on Saturday, July 2. If you miss the online registration, you will be able to register at the Flora-Bama on Sunday, July 3, between 4 and  7 PM or on race day from 6 - 6:45 AM.

Come Join us the th 4th Annual SHARK Run at the Flora-Bama July 4th morning.

We have added an ALL ROAD 4 mile run - for those of you that don't like to run on the beach - to accompany the Original ADVENTURE run (2 mile Road/2.5 mile beach) and the ALL BEACH 1 mile Adventure Run 

Race Start Time:

4 Mile and 4.5 Mile races will start at 7 AM SHARP in front of the Flora-Bama.

1 Mile Run will start at 7:15 AM on the beach behind the Flora-Bama. 

Location:

Flora-Bama Lounge, Package, & Oyster Bar, Orange Beach, AL

Courses: 

4 Mile all road race course, 4.5 Mile road and beach race course, and 1 Mile all beach race.

Awards:

Top finishers and age group winners in the 4 Mile road race and 4.5 Mile Adventure race will receive awards. All 4.5 Mile Adventure Run finishers and 1 Mile Adventure Run finishers will receive a special finisher's medal.

Shirts:  

Participants have a choice between a cool tee shirt or a tank top. To guarantee a shirt, please register by June 25.

Late Registration and Packet Pick-up:

Packet pick-up and late registration will be available on Sunday, July 3, from 4 - 7 PM at the Flora-Bama. Race day registration and packet pick-up will be available from 6 - 6:45 AM at the Flora-Bama.

Parking:

Parking at the Flora-Bama is limited.  Please carpool if you can.

Post-race Party:

Awards, FREE Food including cold watermelon and hot pizza, and cold beverages including BEER for all participants. Music provided by one of the best DJs on the coast.
