Splash Dash 5K Run, Walk & Family Fun Run is the best way to kick off your July 4th Weekend!

Beginning on Huizenga Plaza, participants will make their way down scenic Las Olas Boulevard and across the Las Olas Isles, taking in stunning waterways and waterfront homes, before making a splash at our beach front finish line! Tacky Tourist apparel encouraged but not mandatory. Run, walk or do a combination of the two on your own, with a team or with your family.

Proceeds benefit the I Care, I Cure Cancer Foundation, a 501(c) (3) organization dedicated to finding less harsh, more gentle treatments for children with cancer.

SPLASH DASH EVENT DETAILS.

RACE BEGINS AT 7:00am SHARP!

Race-Day Packet Pick Up & Registration opens at 5:45am.

THE COURSE:The USATF ratified course is straight and flat, with one bridge that occurs in Mile 3.

PARKING: There is parking close by Huizenga Plaza, public lot and on-street parking OPPOSITE to the north, and OPPOSITE to the west at 1, River Plaza, W. Las Olas Blvd.

SHUTTLE SERVICE: If you are staying at one of our beautiful beach hotels, we have shuttle pick up to take you to the start line. Be sure to let your concierge know that you wish to get on board.

PACKET PICK UP: Please bring picture ID with you for packet pick up. If someone is picking your packet up for you, please make sure they have a copy of your ID.

TEAM PACKET PICK UP: if you are picking up for a team, please email us to let us know so that we have your packets ready for you. Team Leader only needs show ID.

*FLORIDA IN JULY IS USUALLY HOT & HUMID* During the race you will be splashed with water but please make sure to hydrate adequately before, during and after the race. Water will be provided before and after the race for ALL participants, and there will be water stations at each mile along the route.

We recommend wearing light clothing and sunscreen.

Race Results and Race Day Photographs will be posted online the day after the race.

AWARDS:

Under 18's awards will be as follows: 0-6, 7-12, 13-16.

Participant medals will be given to EVERY participant.
