ONYX Scholarship Scoot 5K Run...

Join ONYX, the Ottawa area’s young professionals group, in its 8th annual 5K run/walk event!

Proceeds from this year’s event directly benefit a scholarship program for local high school

students with a desire to return to Ottawa when done with college.  

Event details and schedule

Morning of the race registration begins at 6:30am. The race will start at 8:00am sharp! The course is 3.1 miles running from the west side of Ottawa, IL to beautiful east side finishing on the riverwalk in downtown Ottawa. There will be water stations along the course, as well as splits at the 1 mile and 2 mile locations. Parking is available along Main Street and at the top of the hill on Albin Stevens Dr. Snacks and refreshments will be available after the race, with awards to follow the conclusion of the event. Top Male and Female along with top 3 finishers in each age group/division will win awards.
