Biwabik 4th of July 5K Race...

The City of Biwabik and its people are best known for their City's Alpine Theme, Golf and Ski Resort, Weihnachtsfest celebration, and 4th of July activities including the Calithumpian Parade and the increasingly popular 4th of July 5K race!  The race has grown from fewer than 100 original participants in the 2008 to over 400 in 2014.  

The start/finish line is located behind St. John's Catholic church; there is plenty of parking.  The asphault path runs along the Mesabi Trail and the shores of beautiful Embarrass Lake (aka Merritt Lake), under the bridge to a turnaround point, and back to the church.  

EARLY REGISTRATION IS ENCOURAGED: All participants pre-registered by June 15th are guaranteed  a t-shirt.  Late registrants receive t-shirts on a first come first serve basis.  Early registration speeds up race day procedures, so please register early.
