Soaked 5K and Fun Run...

• 5K Fun Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

The Crossroads area's only water- and foam- filled fantastical run is back for a third year, and it's better than ever! This year's theme is 'SOAKED', a wet-and-wild course filled with fun and adventure. Set in scenic Riverside Park in Victoria, Texas, the course features splash zones, water features, and a foamy finish line! The party doesn't stop after the run; a fun festival with bouncy water slides, water gun fights, an epic slip-n-slide, and the summer's biggest water balloon fight finishes this family-friendly charity event.

The race team has been working hard to make the course even better and longer, putting it just under five kilometers. The run is all about fun, perfect for beginners and experienced runners alike! 

This year's run benefits The Riding Therapy Center of Victoria and the Smiles For Life Foundation. The Riding Therapy Center is the only PATH Intl Premier Accredited Center within 125 miles. The RTC serves individuals with disabilities or special needs with equine therapeutic riding services. In the past 27 years, the RTC’s work has helped clients achieve improvements in balance, coordination, motor skills, cognitive planning and self-esteem, increasing their independence in and outside of the arena.

The Smiles For Life Foundation supports local and national children's charities across the US; Each year, the team at Goliad Dental Care donates all profits received from whitening procedures during the months of March through June to the Smiles for Life Foundation in support of foundation's charity work.

Event details and schedule

SCHEDULE

Pre-race party and warm up exercises, lead by a team of experienced personal trainers, will begin at 8:00AM. The first wave of runners will start at 9:00AM. The festival follows immediately after the run; breakfast will be served on site at 10:00AM. 

PARKING

Parking is available in the Riverside Convention Center parking lot located on Red River Street, or throughout the park. Please note that access to the Texas Zoo parking area will be closed during the run.

RESTROOMS

Restrooms are located on the Special Events peninsula beside the festival area. 

WAIVERS AND ID

A waiver of liability is required for each participant. This form is available for download and can be completed and emailed to [email protected] or brought to the run. A valid photo ID will be required to pick up your race packet.

WHAT TO WEAR

The Soaked event is filled with splash zones and water hoses spraying participants throughout the course. Plan to wear comfortable, water-appropriate attire - and don't forget to have fun! Participants are encouraged to bring out the costumes, tutus, and crazy colors and enjoy the party! Please note that the 5K t-shirts provided in the race bags are WHITE and may become transparent when wet.
