• 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

The 4th Annual Leadership Fort Stockton Paisano Powder Run will be held on July 4th at James Rooney Memorial Park at 8:30 am.  The 1 mile route takes you around the park's walking trail and the 5k route takes you through the heart of Downtown Fort Stockton before rejoining the walking path at the Park.   This is a fun, family friendly event benefiting a wonderful program for the citizens of Fort Stockton, all while getting gently bombarded with colorful powder pigments.

Leadership Fort Stockton teaches the skills necessary to be an effective leader in your community while educating participants of all Fort Stockton has to offer.  Proceeds from the race go toward the trip to Mo Ranch where participants go through team building excersises and come together as a class.

The Paisano Powder Run is a great family activity sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce and Leadership Fort Stockton. Get blasted with color and get out in the community!

The race starts at 8:30 a.m.

T-shirts are only guaranteed to those who register by June 17^th.

Registration: $25/adult, $15/child under age 10; no guarantee on t-shirts for late registration.

Packet Pickup/Race Day Registration

Pick up T-shirt and race packet at the Chamber on Friday, July 1. You may also pick up your race packet on Monday, July 4 starting at 7:30 AM at Rooney Park.

Advisory Comments:

Please understand that you will be covered in colored powder; and there is no guarantee that it will not stain your clothing, skin and shoes. Participants will be running through colored powder “stations”, there will be powder in the air and all over participants. Please keep this fact in mind if you suffer from any respiratory conditions.   For more information contact the Chamber of Commerce.

There will be no time kept for this race but racers are welcome to time themselves if they would like.
