Round Valley Run may be one of the most scenic runs you will ever do! This 5.4 mile cross country loop circles Round Valley Lake, providing a run that is very calm and serene as you have a perfect view of the surrounding mountains and the lake. The terrain is mostly flat that winds through meadows and forest providing a running surface that is mostly packed dirt. Our Junior Event (11 - 16) is a flat up and back 1.5 mile course; our easy and fun alternative for young adults. Rather Walk? Our Walk Course is a great option for simply enjoying the scenery as it is a up and back, flat, 2 mile course. Our Kid's Run takes place prior to the main event and is a very popular 200 yard mini-course on a paved surface.
After the Race, join us for food, fun and an amazing raffle with over $7,000 in prizes from local businesses and craft folk. Also bring your own T-shirt and have it silk screened live with our Round Valley Run Logo.
Round Valley Run is popular as a destination race as families enjoy escaping the hustle and bustle of city life to run and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding Indian Valley. The camping, fishing, hiking, biking, and boating in Indian Valley make for a wonderful family retreat! We're looking forward to seeing you out here!
Event details and schedule
Pre-registration fee is $39 for main race (5.4 miles) and $29 for junior and walk races (1.5miles). Race day registration will be an additional $5. Family rate: $5 off each entry for 3 or more. Pre registration must be received by July 18 and is nonrefundable. Goodie bags and bib #'s available on morning of race. All entrants will receive a quality embroidered hat.
Divisions And Prizes Main event : Medals and prizes awarded 3 deep in each age group and gender (7 divisions). Overall male and female winners will be awarded a food or lodging gift certificate. Runner ups will be awarded a gift. Junior event: Medals and prizes awarded 3 deep in each age group and gender (2 divisions). Winners will receive a gift. Kids event: Winning boy and girl will recieve a prize. Race participation is free and limited to children 10 and under. Walk event: Ribbons will be awarded to all finishing walkers. Race results will be posted on this web site. | |

Parking Available at designated/marked areas near start location and in day use areas between dam and start area. Family and friends coming to watch need to arrive by 8:15 a.m. as road is part of course and will be blocked. | |
