Join us at the Tate Center on the UGA Campus, in the shadow of Sanford Stadium, for this wonderful 5K.  Make the most of your miles in the race to cure Parkinson's by supporting the Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research! Come run with us and make your miles count towards a cure for Parkinson’s!

Event details and schedule

Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup: Begins at 6:30AM

5K: Starts at 7:30AM

Active Registration:  will close at midnight, August 3, 2016. Registration will be available the day of the race starting at 6:30AM.

Awards: Presented to Overall Male/Female, Masters Male/Female, Grandmasters Male/Female and first, second and third place in 10-year age groups beginning with 10 and under and going through 70 and over.

Timing and Results: Finish line management and results are provided by Classic Race Services with results posted to www.classicraceservices.com, www.active.com, www.coolrunning.com and www.runningintheusa.com.

Shirts and Goodies: Shirts are guaranteed to those who register by 7/27/16.  Those registering after that date and on race day are not guaranteed a shirt or size.  There will be plenty of refreshments.

Series Affiliation: The race is part of the 2016 Black Bag Race Series.

Other Info: In case of rain, the races will go on.  Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time.  If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time.  Sorry, no refunds.

Proceeds: Proceeds will benefit The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
