Camp Smith Grueler 5K Run ~ Results

• 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

Race starts at 7:00AM!

Online registration closes Tuesday, 19 July 2016 at 11:00 pm HST

Come join the Marines at Camp H.M. Smith for a challenging, scenic 5K. The course will start and finish at Bordelon Field, overlooking a scenic view of Pearl Harbor and incorporating a grueling partial trail run.  This event is open to the general public.

All civilians (Non-DoD) MUST register ten days prior to the race, by July 13, 2016

Entry fees: $25 per person. A late fee of $10 per person will be added to all registrations received after 11:59pm HST on Friday, 15 July 2016. T-shirts are not guaranteed if you register during the late period.  Registrations are non-refundable.

Packet Pick-up: Civilians without base access can pick up their packet on Thursday, 21 July at the Kaneohe Bay Front Gate pass house parking lot of between 1:00am and 6:00pm. All civilians will receive a special event pass, if needed to get on base on race day. Participants with base access may pick up their packet on Thursday, 21 July at the Kaneohe Bay front gate or Friday, 22 July at the General Louis H. Wilson Fitness Center (Bldg 615) on Camp Smith from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Packets may also be picked up the morning of the race at Bordelon Field. 

Eligibility: Strollers are not encouraged during this race due to the trail portion of the course.  Portions of the trail are very narrow and may not be able to accomodate a running stroller. 

Awards: Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in 10 age divisions from 14 and under to 55 and above, and the top three male and female finishers overall. 

Registering after online registration closes: Once online registration closes, particpants who hold proper base ID access may still register at the front desk of the Semper Fit Center KBay, General Louis H. Wilson Fitness Center, Camp Smith or at the race location the morning of the event. All civilian (Non DoD) must register ten days prior to the event which is Wednesday,13 July 2016. Registration on race day will be $35.00, payment with cash or check, and participants are not guaranteed a T-shirt.
