Wapsi 5K & 7 Mile Run...

• 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

This 5K feature's a great run / walk on the Wapsi-Great Western Line Bike Trail starting at Riceville, going out past Lake Hendrick's and through the woods. The 7 mile run starts north near McIntire and is a point to point run / walk.  It is partially on an adbonded railroad bed and features a lot of shaded areas.  All registrants get free all you can eat pancakes after the run. ($4 for non 5K-registered adults and $2 for children). Stick around for the town activities all day long in Riceville!

Event details and schedule

The races will start at 8am.  Packet's can be picked up Friday evening from 6-7pm or starting at 6:30am on race-day.  Please plan to arrive early, parking is available on side-streets.  Registering on active.com will require you to pay a processing fee.  You can also print a registration off and mail it in from our website: https://wgwltrail.com or search for us on- fitnesssports.com  If you need a ride to the start line for the 7 mile run, the bus leaves from the trailhead at 7:40, anyone later than that will need to drive to the start line.
