Join the Old Baldy Foundation in celebrating National Lighthouse Day with North Carolina's oldest lighthouse. We invite you and your family to the Maritime Classic "Run for the Light" in our 10K/5K/1 Mile Fun Runs!  Each runner will receive a headlamp, glow in the dark shirt, signature medal and lots of other fun perks.  This is a night run and we encourage all runners to wear glow in the dark festive gear.  Make sure to register for the correct entry.  We have adult registration with and without ferry services. Please note youth (12 and under) registration is available with and without ferry service as well.

Event details and schedule

• 10K\5K\and 1 Mile Fun Runners will meet at the Old Baldy Lighthouse no later than 6:30 p.m.
• If you are traveling by ferry, please go to baldheadislandferry.com to plan your ferry ride.(ticket cost is included in your registration cost)
• Registration Packets with ferry tickets may be picked up at Deep Point Ferry Terminal on Sunday, August 7, 2016 at 9-9:45 am, 10- 10:45 am, 3- 3:45 pm or 4- 4:45 pm.  We will have a represenative at the listed times to pass out packets.
• On island guest will be able to go by Old Baldy Lighthouse on Saturday, August 6, 2016 durning normal business hours (9 am- 5 pm) to pick up registration packet.
• The 1 Mile Fun Run will begin at 7:00 p.m. and the 10K/5K run will begin at 7:30 p.m.
• There is a $10 a day fee to park your car at the Deep Point Parking Lot (cost not included with your registration)
• Pre-registration will end on Friday, August 5th at 5 pm.  All other runners can come to the Old Baldy Lighthouse durning normal business hours to register for the run.  Late registration prices will be: Adults $60 and Youth (12 and under) $45.00 (Ferry is not included)
