Lake Ericson 5K Trail Mix Fun Run...

The Ericson Lake Corporation proudly presents the first annual Trail Mix Fun Run to be held on Saturday, July 23rd, 2016 at Lake Ericson, located one mile south of Ericson, Nebraska. 

The Trail Mix Fun Run is a 5K for walkers and runners of all ages and levels.  With the rolling Sandhills as a backdrop, the level course will weave you around beautiful Lake Ericson through a rural mixture of trails consisting of gravel, dirt, and sand.

As a non profit organization, the Ericson Lake Corporation strives to protect and promote wildlife and water conservation as well as to provide an environment in which to enjoy it.  With your help we can raise much needed funds and increase awareness that will enhance the conservation and sustainability of Lake Ericson.

Event details and schedule

RACE DETAILS

Race begins at 8:30 on Saturday, July 23rd. Packet pick-up will be Friday July 22nd from 6-8pm at the round picnic area by the boat dock.  Race day registration and packet pick-up will be from 7:30 to 8:15a.m in round picnic area by the boat dock. Participants must have a signed waiver prior to packet pick-up, copies will be available at pick-up, if needed. Free t-shirt for all paid registrations! Children 12 and under are free with a paid adult registration. 

PRIZE GIVE-AWAY

 All participants 13 years and older will be entered into a drawing for prizes donated by our sponsors.  Prizes will be drawn after the race and you must be present to win.

Grand Prize is a two night cabin stay for six people in a Lake Ericson cabin. Includes a tank float down the Cedar River for six by Get Tanked LLC and a $50 gift certificate from Starving Stallion Bar & Restaurant.  Prize Value $450.00 (Must be 18 years or older for Grand Prize drawing)

Come down the night before and stay for the weekend.  Lake Ericson offers  tent camping on a first come, first serve basis.  Enjoy swimming, fishing, hiking and wildlife watching as well as the many other recreational activities available.  Come see what makes Lake Ericson so special!
