Glow With The Flow 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run (A Fundraiser to Benefit the Collin Cares Foundation)

• 1 Mile Run:- Run 1 Mile

Why Run This Race?

Collin Kiousis was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in 2014, his senior year at Medina High School. Collin has had major surgeries and is still undergoing chemo treatments while attending college at the University of Akron.

His reaction to this?  To FIGHT HARD! His family, friends and the entire Medina community fight with him.

Collin cares deeply about others who are also fighting cancer…and he has decided to raise money to help Medina area families.  Your participation in the Glow With the Flow Run/Walk provides the needed funds!   Please help Collin serve these families!

NEW THIS YEAR! “GLOW WITH THE FLOW”— OUR EVENT IS A FUN FILLED NIGHT RUN This year our event will allow our runners and walkers to experience a terrific evening of colorful lights and music along the course that is sure to be one of your best summer memories! We promise you will find this an AWESOME way to help others and at the same time HAVE FUN!

Race Date / Time:

Friday Evening August 5th.   1 Mile Kids Run @ 8:45pm.  5K Run @ 9:15pm

Location:

Medina County Career Center, 1101 W. Liberty Road, Medina, OH 44256

Entry Fees:

$15.00 — 1 Mile Kid’s Run [Includes Kid’s Shirt]

$25.00 — 5K Run [Includes 5K Shirt]

Post race Food and refreshments will be provided to all who participate!

Course:

Both the 1 Mile and the 5K races are loop courses held on a crushed limestone trail that encircles the Career Center.

Awards:

For the 5K there will be awards for the top 3 overall finishers both male and female as well as the top 3 in each age group both male and female.  

5K Age Groups are: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+

All 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk participants will receive a finisher’s ribbon. 

Early Packet Pick Up & Late Registration:

Yes we will have early packet pick up and offer late registration. Details coming soon!

We only offer online registration for our event at this time.
