This year's walk for Intermountain Healing Hearts is special. We've coordinated with a great partner, Geek'd Out Events, to make this year more special and with more impact. If you'd like to updrage to the Potter Run registration and get their special shirts and medals for this race click here. If not, just register for this race to get the IHH race shirt.

We will be doing the race at the West Jordan Veterans Memorial park again. Each registered participant will recieve a special tshirt. The Geek'd Out Events race is the same time and day and is benefitting Intermountain Helaing Hearts! Their race is called The Potter Run and they have around 800+ runners come out in costume to race for a great cause.  This year we are that cause.

So on top of enjoying the special traditions we've had in the past including the Angels Ceremony you can also enjoy a chance to take pictures with your favorite Harry Potter characters, play some Quidditch, meet live owls and snakes, and play on the castle playground. There will be a large silent auction you can participate in as well. Stick around for the award ceremony and the costume contest. The very special "Angel Memorial ceremony" will include a butterfly release but this year the extra participants are planning on raising wands in a show of respect for this as well.

After everything else grab some breakfast from the Healing Hearts volunteers and enjoy much more of the fun festivities!

August 19, 2016 -- 6:00-8:00pm - 

Early Check In/Packet Pick-Up! You may pick up your t-shirt starting at 6:00 pm at the southeast parking area of West Jordan Veterans Memorial Park by the big playground.  This will also be the location of Day-Of Check-In. If you have not already signed your wavier form, you will be asked to do so then.  Please bring a form of ID.

Brooms Up! The Potter Run race begins!

The Course follows the sidewalk around West Jordan Memorial Park and is 1 Lap. other racers may do the full 5K which is 4 laps.

Runners will race at 9:00am.

Potter Run walkers and all Intermountain Heling Hearts participants begin their walk.

After you finish the race, stick around for the medal ceremony, costume contest, and the very special "Angel Memorial ceremony" with a butterfly release; you'll want to raise your wands up for this. Be sure to get a picture with the costumers and animals, epic green-screened photos by Optic Rush, the silent auction and other wizard activities!

Light breakfast will be available. The breakfast will be served by Intermountain Healing Hearts and all proceeds go directly to the families and kids they serve!
