The 2nd annual Monongalia County Child Advocacy Center Care for Kids 5K takes place on a scenic, point and return course during the summer. It starts at the Tug Boat Depot in Star City and proceeds on the rail trail along the Monongahela River. The trail is flat and is a mostly shaded. Runners/Walkers will go a little over 1.5 miles before turning around and continuing to the finish line. The event also includes a post-race meal and post-race festivities for the whole family!
