_ 2016 Rising Above Cancer 5K Run/Walk and Family Fun Day:

Rising Above Cancer is a competitive 5K for the competitive athlete with cash prize to the first male and female finisher. Medals and prizes to first 3 men and women in 6 age groups. It is also a non-competitive and family fun run and walk for the recreational athlete and cancer survivors and their support team. Free kids races organized by the local YMCA.

Family activities include a dog show, cooking demonstration by Chef Terranova "Cooking with Class", circus workshop, face painting, balloon artist, clown, music, freshment, complemenatry massage, raffles, and lots of balloons and bubbles. The dancing cop from providence will be entertaining us at the starting line. Wellness events include skin exams, blood sugar and blood pressure monitoring.
