Thirsty 13 Half Marathon...

It's a race.  It's a Brewfest.  It's the First National Bank of Durango "Thirsty 13" Half Marathon!

Are you thirsty for gorgeous scenery?  You won't find a course more beautiful than this one.  With the majestic La Plata mountains in the background, you'll cruise through the lush pastures of Wildcat Canyon and past the pristine waters of Lake Nighthorse.  This beautiful, point-to-point course has it all!

Are you thirsty for a PR?  The course is mostly downhill, so you might think your watch is broken when you hit the finish line.  From start to finish, you drop 1400 feet in elevation.  Don't be surprised if you knock five minutes off your previous best.

Are you thirsty for a Brewfest?  When you accomplish something as big as finishing a half marathon, you want a celebration that is worthy of your accomplishment.  Well, we have 50 great breweries waiting to congratulate you on your run!  Your post-race party is the San Juan Brewfest, and your ticket is included with your race entry fee.

SCHEDULE:

Packet Pickup

Friday, August 26, 12 - 6:30pm: First National Bank of Durango lobby, 259 W. 9th Street

Race day, 6:15 - 6:45am: Ska Brewing, 225 Girard Street.

RACE DAY SCHEDULE:

7am sharp:  Buses depart Ska for the start line.

8am:  Race starts!

10 - 11:30am:  Post-race celebration and awards.

1 - 5pm:  San Juan Brewfest in Buckley Park!
