• 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

The 5th Annual Run with the Chiefs 5k is being hosted by the Sequoyah High School Cross Country team.  Digital chip timing will be provided by Orion Racing.  The course is a fast flat track through beautiful Boling Park.  This coarse is used by high schools for XC competitions.  This will be a great track to evaluate your running.  This race will provide optimum viewing for friends and family to cheer you on to your personal best time! 

Drawings for some awesome door prizes will be at the conclusion of the race,. You don’t want to miss this exciting event!  It's PR time!!!!

Awards

Prizes will be awarded to the Top 3 Men’s and Women’s finishers.

Custom Awards will also be awarded to the top 2 finishers in each age group. 

Age Groups

10 and under, 11-15, 16-20, 21-25, 26-30, 31-35, 36-40, 41-45, 46-50, 51-55, 56-60, and 61+

Event details and schedule

• The race will take place at  beautiful Boling park on the Etowah River.  Boiling Park, located just off of I-575, Exit 16.  Race will begin promptly, rain or shine at 8:30 a.m. There will be plenty of free parking.
• Same day registration will be offered starting at 6:30 AM Cash, check, or credit cards will be accepted. 
• Packet pick-up will be  Friday (Aug 5th) before the race, 6:30-7:45 p.m. at Boling Park.  We will be at the covered picnic area next to the Cherokee High School Baseball field.  
• Boling Park provides alot of hiking trails and picnic areas to enjoy your accomplishment and share with friends and family after the race!!!!
