The Hullabaloo Family Obstacle Course is a thrilling, un-timed obstacle challenge established by Light of Chance’s Get Set Go Program. The Hullabaloo race is a unique mile-long run, constructed challenging obstacles designed to engage families and individuals of all ages and fitness levels in endless amounts of exciting entertainment. Hullabaloo is one of the only obstacle courses in the south central area created for the entire family. The Hullabaloo experience combines teamwork, family strength, and participation.
Hullabaloo puts every family to the test with striking obstacles, including stations with balance beams, tire obstacles, cargo climbs, the Spider-web Rope Crawl and many more. During the obstacle race, participants are encouraged to use their physical and mental strength to fight to the finish line as a team.
The Hullabaloo seeks to empower participants to develop healthy habits that will remain with them throughout their lives, resulting in reduced risk of childhood obesity and other health-related issues. The Hullabaloo Family Obstacle Course Challenge was created on behalf of Childhood Obesity Awareness month. According to Trust for America's Health, Kentucky ranks 3rd for childhood obesity in the USA, and 5th for adults. Light of Chance is igniting change through wellness programs and events, such as the Hullabaloo race, to combat those statistics.
