Eastside Son Run...

• 1 Mile Run:- Run 1 Mile
• 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

Our race course will be the same as previous years.  It starts and ends at Mac & Bones passing by Trustmark Park and HWY 80.  It is relatively flat and fast.  We will have Navy Blue dri-fit shirts, and our top finishers will also receive a gift certificate for running gear! Chick-fil-a has donated a free sandwich coupon for every race bag. We have a great race put on by runners for runners.

We will have awards in all the usual age groups.  We are ordering 300 of these great shirts, so shirt size preferences will be given on a first-come-first-served basis. Event details and schedule

Where:  The run will start on Riverwind Dr at the entrance of Mac & Bones in Pearl, go on a clockwise loop to Highway 80, a smaller loop around Trustmark Park, and end back at Mac& Bones.

When: Saturday, August 30, 2014 with a 7:00 am start. Registration begins at 5:45 am.

Why:Proceeds from this year’s race will benefit the Eastside Christmas Store.  This is a ministry of Eastside Church in Pearl that provides goods and services to families in need at Christmas.  These goods and services, including food, school supplies, gifts and family necessities, are provided at no cost to the families being helped.

Awards for 5K run/walk Male and Female : Overall, Masters (40+), Grand Masters (50+), EBC Member,  and 1^st , 2^nd, 3^rd in each age group.
