1st Annual Rural Health Initiative

Choose to Move 5K Run/Walk

This event takes is held on the last day of the Waupaca County Fair in Weyauwega, WI.

Registration includes short-sleeve T-shirt, BIB number, and 1 FREE Admission to the fair.

(NOTE! You will need to pick up your race packet in ADVANCE to use the FREE 1-Day Admission ticket when you arrive for the walk/run. If you do not pick up your packet in advance, you are responsible for admission and parking on day of walk/run.)

About the Course
Entire course will be held on the Waupaca County Fair Grounds on a paved surface. However, wet or muddy areas are possible, depending on weather. Plan accordingly.

Registration Fees (Now thru August 19, 2016)
Adults (13 and older): $25
Youth (12 and younger): $15

Registration Fees (August 20 - August 28, 2016)
Adults (13 and older): $30
Youth (12 and younger): $20

*No fee difference between runners or walkers. 

T-SHIRT GUARANTEE DEADLINE: August 19, 2016
Registration MUST be received (online or via mail) no later than the deadline for participant to receive the desired t-shirt size. If the registration is received after the deadline, the t-shirt and/or size will depend on availability. Available T-shirt sizes include adult small (S), medium (M), large (L), XL, and XXL.

Packet Pick-Up

Dates and locations to be determined (TBD). Packets will be available in advance to allow individuals to use the free admission ticket (1 per registrant) on event day.


Prizes will be awarded following the event. Awards will be presented to the overall male & female winners as well as the top male & female runners in each age division: 
12 & under; 13-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60+
