Description

We hope you can join us again this year October 1st at the field next to Dobra Tea to help us raise support for our school in the coffee growing community of Joconal, Guatemala. All proceeds will help fund supplies for projects, graduation costs, and teacher's salaries. Thanks to support from the races over the past 2 years, we have 5 students getting ready for the first ever high school graduation in Joconal this October.This year we've included a 10k race for all you long distance runners. Just like last year, you'll find lots of coffee at the finish line.

Course Info

The 5k route winds through the streets of Black Mountain. The course starts and finishes in town. The scenic course takes you down the Greenway, past Lake Tomahawk, and includes a few hills along the way. When you finish, you'll be greeted by a hot cup of coffee.The 10k route winds through the streets of Black Mountain. The course starts and finishes in town with the 5k course.
