On August 20 join us for a night of remembrance. Our goal is to run/walk 1 mile for every fallen service member and revive the memory and honor the 6850+ marines, soldiers, airmen and sailors killed in Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Freedom’s Sentinel, Operation Inherent Resolve, Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation New Dawn.
The event is a celebration of life - our goal is to remember the fallen and celebrate their lives, their accomplishments and selfless sacrifice. We invite you to join us and help us remember these amazing men and women.
Please commit to at least one mile but you're welcome to run/walk as many miles as you want. Before every mile you will receive the name and bio of a service member and after every mile we will place a memorial flag in their memory.
The event is very similar to tailgating and/or camping. Arrive whenever you want, stay as long as you want, and run as far as you want. We suggest bringing your entire family, camping/tailgating gear and spending the entire night with us camping out on the infield and around the track.
Enjoy 2 movies, several live bands, free dinner, free breakfast, massage, family activities, kids' activities and various vendors and exhibitors.
