Please join us in this fun and exciting 2nd Annual Assyrian Fest 5k Run/Walk on August 27th, 2016. Runners and Walkers are absolutely welcome in this two hour 3.1 mile event. The first 5 Male Finishers and the first 5 Female Finishers will be awarded with first class medals and prizes at 9:30 am. At 10:00 am, following the race, the Turlock Fairgrounds will host the Assyrian Festival. Admission is FREE. There you will find delicious traditional Assyrian foods, dancing, music, and exhibits exemplifying this beautiful culture and its astounding history.

The 3.1 mile course is flat and easy. Participants will begin the race at the Exhibit Building inside the Fairgrounds. They will be guided through the Turlock Fairgrounds and then go around the Summerfaire Park twice. The race will end at the same place it began at the Fairgrounds. **Please note, the streets will not be blocked off to traffic during the event, so please allow our Volunteers to guide you through these parts of the course.**
Packet pickup will be on August 27th, 2015 from 7:30 am until 8:15 am, at the Starting Line inside the Fairgrounds, in front of the Exhibits Building (1101 N. Soderquist Road, Turlock).
Register NOW and save $5.00! Advance registration fee ($25) will increase to $30 the day of the race.
Packet pickup and race day registration opens at 7:30 am on August 27, 2016 at the Starting Line.
Award ceremony for top 5 Male Finishers and top 5 Female Finishers starts at 9:30 am.
Results for each individual's time will be posted on active.com
