Colorado's State Fair 5k Run and Family Fun Walk-Presented by Kaiser Permanente...

We invite you to "Run on Agriculture" at Colorado's State Fair 5K Run and Family Fun Walk! Runners will enjoy the flat course that starts at the State Fair grounds and moves through the surrounding neighborhood, while walkers will have the ease of going around the perimeter of the grounds.  Both groups will be welcomed at the finish line with music, refreshments, and more.  All entries include a t-shirt, race bib, State Fair gate admission, and swag bag.  We invite you to stick around after the race and enjoy all the fun that Colorado's State Fair has to offer including rodeo, concerts, free attractions, carnival, and more!

Event details and schedule

5K Race begins: 9:00am

Family Fun Run begins: 9:15am 

Packet pick-up will take place Friday September 2, 2016 from 2:00pm-7:00pm at: Location TBD

Packets may also be picked-up on Saturday September 3, 2016 starting at 8:00 am at the State Fair Grounds Prairie Street Gate.

Runners/Walkers may also register at the Colorado State Fair Box Office (please note a $5 administrative fee will be added to each registration). 

Restrooms are available at the start/end of the race and a water station is available about half-way through the race. The entire event will take place on paved roads/sidewalks. Strollers are welcome for the Family Fun Walk.

5K Race-First, second, and third place fair ribbon rosettes will be given to the top male and female runners in each age category. Awards will be given at the ceremony after the race is concluded. Age divisions (male and female) in the following categories:  5-20, 21-25, 26-30, 31-35, 36-40, 41-45, 46-50, 51-55, 56-60, 61-65, 66+

There are NO age categories for walkers.  Walkers will not be given a time but will receive a participation ribbon.

Only individuals who have a race bib or gate admission will be allowed on the Colorado State Fair grounds.  Additional gate admission may be purchased on location at the Prairie Street Gate.

For adults 21+ please bring picture ID to enter beer garden
