Most gynecologic cancers are detected in their advanced stages, making them difficult to treat. Jane, 45, from San Francisco, is a small business owner and mother of three. She is one of the 98,280 women expected to be diagnosed with a gynecologic cancer in the U.S. this year. Over 30,000 of these women will die from the disease. It doesn’t have to be this way. We are asking for your help.

September is Gynecologic Cancer Awareness month. SF Teal 2 Heal is organizing the 2nd annual SF Teal 2 Heal, a run/walk in San Francisco to benefit the UCSF Gynecologic Oncology Research and Awareness Events. SF Teal 2 Heal 5K Run/Walk will take place on Saturday, September 10, 2016, at the Bandshell, Golden Gate Park, in San Francisco. We will bring together patients and families affected by gynecologic cancers and other community members interested in supporting our cause. It will be a fun day to run/walk, share information and celebrate life. We invite you to be a sponsor or join us in making noise about these silent killers.
