Our mission is to benefit the Shepherd Center SHARE Military Initiative and to provide a day of patriotic remembrance for those most affected by the events of 9/11/2001.
The first race was held 10th anniversary of 9/11 in 2011 in remembrance of the terrorist attacks on our country through which we lost thousands of American lives including Adam White from the Buckhead community. This will be the fith year for the race. The first four races have been very successful and have attracted more than 700 participants each year.
The race supports the Shepherd Center SHARE Military Initiative which is a comprehensive rehabilitation program that focuses on assessment and treatment for service men and women who have sustained a mild to moderate traumatic brain injury and PTSD from the Afghanistan and Iraqi conflicts.
