The Ogden Masonic Lodge Charity Trail Run is a 4.25 mile non-competitive scenic fun run through miles of woods and prairielands along the banks of the Salt Fork River and Homer Lake. This year, we're also adding a 1.25 mile course as well.
All the profits from the Charity Trail Run will benefit a different local charity each year--more information about our charities can be found on the Trail Run blog at http://masoniccharitytrailrun.blogspot.com/. Due to insurance policies, no dogs or baby strollers are allowed.
The Homer Lake Forest Preserve is approximately 14 miles southeast of Champaign-Urbana. From I-74: Take the Ogden exit 197, and turn south toward the Village of Ogden. Go straight through the four-way stop in Ogden. About two miles south of Ogden turn right (look for the small brown sign that says “Homer Lake”). Take the first left. The entrance to Homer Lake Forest Preserve will be on your right about a half-mile down the road. Follow the signs to the parking and registration area.
The race will begin promptly at 8 AM.
Registration will also be available race day between 7 - 7:30 AM, shirts are only guaranteed for early registrants, but some will be available for purchase on race day.
