• 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

The 2nd Annual Run Germantown benefits support three organizations dedicated to growing a thriving community in Northwest Philadelphia and beyond. Your participation and support helps promote health and wellbeing, economic independence, education and alleviating poverty.  All of the proceeds from Run Germantown will be divided between The One Less Foundation, The Historic Johnson House and TrueWay Y.E.F. to support the work they do to educate, uplift and strengthen local communities.  As a runner, you can support any of the three nonprofit organizations by turning your run into a "fundracer" and asking people you know to make a donation to your run for the organization.  Get more information on how to Run as a Fundraiser.  SCHEDULE: Race day registration – 6:30am; 5k race – 8:00am; Other Family Activities – 9:30am.  COSTS: Registration from now until September 1 is as follows:  $35 for ages 12 and up.  $20 under 12.  Team Entry - visit the RG Cup page for more information.  Children activities - visit the Other Activities page for more information.  From September 1st  - September 9th, including same day registration, the cost will go up!  AWARD CATEGORIES: This year there are 17 awards in the 5K up for grabs!  Team – 1st Place, 2nd and 3rd Places.  Fastest Male Overall – 1st, 2nd and 3rd Places.  Fastest Female Overall – 1st, 2nd and 3rd Places.  1st Place receives $100 prize, 2nd Place receives $50 prize and 3rd Place receives $25 cash prize.  Age Groups/One Winner Per Gender:  Under 12, 12 – 17, 18 – 34, 35 – 54, 55+.
