Imagination Library 5 Mile Race...

Looking for a fun race to kick off your fall running?  Please join us for the 7th annual Imagination Library 5 mile race!  All proceeds will benefit the Imagination Library of Lincoln County.  As runners and walkers wind through the scenic rolling avenues of Fayetteville, they will be cheered on with lots of neighborhood support.  Custom medals will be awarded 3 deep in 5 year age groups, with special awards for overall male and female.  What sets this race apart from others is the awesome door prizes!  Your registration fee makes you eligible for free pedicures, facials,  and lots of other great gifts.  Don't miss this popular race that is part of the Run Lincoln County Grand Prix tour!

Event details and schedule

Package pickup will be  Friday, Sept. 9 at the Chamber of Commerce located at 208 Elk Ave. S in Fayetteville from 4 to 6 pm as well as at Kiwanis Park the morning of the race from 6:30 to 7:30 am. Race will start promptly at 8 am.  Start is on First Avenue and finish is in parking lot at Ralph Askins school.  Door prizes will begin at 9:15 and awards will be at 9:30. Parking is plentiful behind Ralph Askins school and there will be bathrooms available at Kiwanis Park as well as the school. 

Plenty of water and post race goodies will be provided.

After the race, be sure to attend the famous Lincoln County Fair! Sept. 10th is ARMBAND day - all you can ride at the Lincoln County Fair!  Live concerts that night feature popular country music singers .
