The Course:
The site of the SWAMP & STOMP is the KRATOS training facility in Altha, FL.  KRATOS hosts a variety of special ops and civilian training, and is the perfect location for this year's off-road adventure. The course will wind and weave through the scenic trails, over and under obstacles, and straight through the mud!

Kids Run:
The Swamp & Stomp does include a Kids Run which will include a few small obstacles, and the mud pit.  All children must be supervised by an adult, and be respectful of other children.

Clean Up:
Following the race, rinse stations will be available to help with cleanup.
Participants will be provided with disposable bags to transport muddy clothes, if needed.  Restroom facilities are on site.

Participants will need a towel and clean clothes - for sure...no doubt...impossible not to get m.u.d.d.y.

Teams: If participating with a team, all members of the team much cross the finish line with arms interlocked.  Faster members of the team will have a designated and marked area approximately 20 yards from the finish line where they can wait for fellow team members.  Once all members are present, teams may cross the finish line together.

Obstacles: Obstacles range from hay bales to climbing walls, and anything in between. They change from year to year, getting more innovative and interesting at each event!  Of course, the final obstacle is the Calhoun County Mud Pit!

If you are not competitive, and choose to opt out of an obstacle during the run, no problem!  While we encourage all participants to try each obstacle, the goal is to have fun! Each runner should do what they are comfortable with, and enjoy it!

Timing:
This race is not timed.

Rain:
Rain only means one thing – more mud!  Unless there is a lightning storm, the race will go on!

Spectators:
Spectators are invited to come enjoy the mud run show!  There is no charge to watch, and it's definitely entertaining!

Sponsor:
The Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce is the sponsor and coordinator of the Swamp & Stomp.  KRATOS is host of the event.  All proceeds will go towards tourism and economic development efforts for Calhoun County.  Find out more about the Calhoun County Chamber at www.calhounco.org.  Visit http://www.kratosdrss.com/solutions/ksots-g to learn more about KRATOS.
