International Talk Like A Pirate Day's Walk the Plank 4K...

Arrrrh Mattie's! It's International Talk Like A Pirate Day, and we have a Walk the Plank 4K starting & finishing at Joe's Crab Shack in Kennesaw.
The race starts at 6:30 pm, and we'll have special goodies from Joe's for everyone, as well as a great race shirt, and a shot and some awesome awards for the top 3 overall winners and the top 3 overall master's winners.

Event Registration
Registration is $20. Race day registrations are welcome for $5 more (no shirt guarantee though on race day)
Event Cap
Due to course & space restrictions…the event is capped at 250.
Course, Timing, & Finish Line
We'll be using the local sidewalks and walking trails, so we'll be sending out everyone time trial fashion in small groups. Everyone will be chip timed from start to finish, and awards will be given away based on those times. We'll have scrolling results set up so you'll know how you did as you enjoy your post race time at Joe's.
Awards & Goodies
All participants registered by 9/11 are guaranteed a great shirt in their size (women's sizes too). We'll have some extras…but we can't guarantee receipt or size after 9/11. Awards to the top 3 Overall Male & Female & the top 3 Overall Masters Male & Female.
Joe's Crab Shack Specials
Monday is Kids eat free day at Joe's, so be sure to bring the little scallywags along. We'll also have a treasure chest full of Free Appetizer cards for finishers.

Event Courtesy Policy
Our events are designed to be fun and for the entire family. With that in mind any competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds.
