Join us for our first ever GPA 5K for Mental Health Awareness. The purpose of this event is to raise awareness about the importance of "protecting your brain" by taking care of your mental health. The event will take place on September 17th in the historic Grant Park.  Starting in front of the Milledge Fountain which is located about 1/2 mile north of the Grant Park Zoo, the race route takes you on a street route around the park through the beautiful Grant Park neighborhood and brings you back to Milledge Fountain to cross the finish line.

ABOUT THE RACE:

NAME: Protect the Brain: GPA 5K for Mental Health Awareness

DISTANCE: 5K Walk/Run - Attendees 8 & older must register to participate in the race.

**This event is a USA Track & Field Certified Peachtree Road Race Qualifier.

DATE/RACE START TIME: September 17, 2016 at 9:00 a.m.

LOCATION: Grant Park

EARLY PACKET PICK-UP: September 12-15 at the GPA Office

RACE DAY PACKET PICK-UP: Begins at 7:45 a.m.

ENTRY FEES:

$25 - Early Bird registration, June 17th - July 17th

$30 - July 18th - August 31st

$40 - September 1st - September 17th including limited onsite registration)

NUTS & BOLTS:

**This is a family friently event.  Baby joggers and strollers are welcome.

** This is a rain or shine event - no refunds. 

**Commemorative t-shirts will be included in the race packet. However, please note that t-shirt sizing and availability cannot be guaranteed for those registering after August 31st.
