We invite you to join us for the 2nd ANNUAL REINHARDT UNIVERSITY 5K RUN FOR A DAY in downtown Canton, GA.  Proceeds from the race will benefit Reinhardt's Scholarship Program for Students.

What is ADay? Created in 1988, the ADay for Reinhardt campaign is an annual effort to provide support for Cherokee County students attending Reinhardt University. ADay helps fund the University’s Cherokee County grant program. This grant gives eligible students the opportunity to receive as much as $8,000 during their four years at Reinhardt. Since ADay’s inception, more than $3 million in scholarships have been awarded to deserving local students.

Event details and schedule

Early Registration and Packet Pickup: Friday 9/16 from 3PM to 5PM at Bank of North Georgia, 300 East Main Street, Canton GA 30114

Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup: Begins at 7AM

5K: Starts at 8AM

Awards: Trophies for the top 3 male and female finishers.  Age Group awards will be 3 deep in standard age groups beginning with 10 and under to 70 and over.

Timing and Results: Finish line management and results provided by Classic Race Services with results posted to www.classicraceservices.com, www.active.com, www.runningintheusa.com, and www.coolrunning.com.

Shirts and Goodies:  Shirts are guaranteed to those who register by 9/3/16.  Those who register after that date and on race day are not guaranteed a shirt or size.  There will be plenty of refreshments.  Door prizes will be given out after the awards ceremony.  You must be present to win the door prizes.

Series Affiliation: The race is part of the Black Bag Race Series.

Other Info: In case of rain, the races will go on.  Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time.  If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time.  Sorry, no refunds.
