The WSSU Young Alumni Council is at it again. We will be raising scholarship dollars for the students of Winston-Salem State University in our annual 5K/10K family run.

Register for this family friendly run, and not only are you supporting the future of our nation through edication, but you'll be able to enjoy friends, family, and fun through pre/post activities planned by your young alumni.

The 5k/10k is a part of the Young Alumni Council's Young Alumni Weekend-- but feel free to still register, even if you are not an alumnus of Winston-Salem State University. All friends and family are welcome!

Event details and schedule

The YAC WSSU 5K/10K will start at 8am with registation beginning at 7am, and pre-race activities following shortly. Packet pickup will begin on Friday, September 16, 2016 at the Alumni House. Details to follow. On-site packet and t-shirt pickup will open at 7:00am at race site. Breakfast will be provided. Parking is free and will be located in the parking lot of the Anderson Center. The course will start at the Anderson Center on the campus of Winston-Salem State University, run through Salem Creek and back to the starting point at the Anderson Center. We will have volunteers strategically placed on the route to keep you on track and motivated. 

As we get closer to the race, we will be sure to provide undates. Bring your entire family out. We look forward to seeing you all there.
