The Mustang Stampede...

Looking for a great way to enjoy friends and fellow students and neighbors?  Our first annual Mustang Stampede is open for registration.  Our 5K race starts with a warm up courtesy of  CrossFit Surmount of Apex.  When the whistle blows runners will be sent winding through the beautiful neighborhoods of Briar Chapel.  The end of the race finds runners returning to our campus.  Upon arrival at Pollard we will have an obstacle course for children 18 and under, as well as, several premier food trucks for you to grab a quick treat.   Music, and prizes for the winners will be awarded.  Its a great way to start your Saturday, and a great 2016-2017 school season!

Event details and schedule

Packet Pick up will be from 5:30-8:30 on September 9, 2016 at Carolina Brewery in Pittsboro NC.  Their address is 120 Lowes Dr #100 Pittsboro NC 27312.  Arrival should occur between 7:15 and 7:30 on the day of the race, and late packet pick up will be available on campus the morning of the race.  Parking will take place on campus in the two corresponding lots of Margaret B Pollard Middle School is located at 185 Granite Mill Blvd Chapel Hill NC 27516.  Strollers are permitted, but no animals the day of the race please! As well, our race will begin promptly at 8:00am with a warm up by Crossfit Surmount you don't want to miss. Remember to bring your racing bib, sport your shirt, and bring your enthusiasm!
