The Food Allergy Support Group of Tidewater is a non-profit group and that offers opportunities to individuals and organizations to learn about food allergies. The group hosts educational meetings and other social events designed to offer local families in Hampton Roads the opportunity to connect with one another. Through these events FASGOT also hopes to increase education and awareness of food allergy in the community. Examples of the groiup's efforts include the Food Allergy Conference, Food Allergy 101 Conference for schools, and Emergency Medical Services training/education at the Virginia EMS Symposium.
