_ 2016 Global Energy 10K & 3K - Long Beach, CA:
Join us as we #RunAsOne with 37 cities around the globe. Hosted by Bimbo Bakeries USA, the Global Energy Race will feature a 10K run option, certified by USA Track and Field, as well as 3K family fun run/walk. The event will offer: music, motivational announcers and warm-up team, scenic routes, cool down recovery zone, refueling snacks, games, commerative swag, meet Osito Bimbo and more. The race will be part of a Guinness World Records attempt: The most number of cities participating in the same race on the same day. One loaf of bread will be donated per completed 10K. First place male and female winners of the 10K race in each participating city will receive an all-expenses paid trip to run in any 2017 Global Energy Race participant city.
