WHY RUN or WALK?
For those who have ever had loved ones- friends or family- affected by Alzheimer's Disease, Dementia, Stroke, Parkinson's Disease...this race is for you! We would honor your sincere desire in joining with us to raise awareness and research with the Star Neuroscience Foundation. This is the semi-annual event to be held in the downtown area of the city of Lawrenceville. All participants will be given race bags with purple shoelaces to recognize the National Alzheimer's Disease Awareness month in November. Walk or Run- Show us your support, build a team, and "rock" the laces. Awards...music... and fun!
EVENT DAY:
Event is set to start at 7:00a.m. on September 24, 2016. Runners will begin...then walkers from the parking lot of the Lawrenceville City Hall. All participants should wear comfortable clothing and dress for the weather. Although this is just a 5K, please be responsible and aware of personal limitations.
REGISTRATION-
Please arrive around 6:30a.m. This gives time for registration and packet pick-up. Event day registration is permitted; however, it does not guarantee a race bag or T-shirt; additional $5.00 may apply to late entries. Parking will be limited. You may use the outskirts for parking or the adjoined parking lots of City Hall or Lawrenceville Parking Garage, as available. You may bring non-alcoholic beverages for race and other protein snacks; however, be mindful of clean-up.

Parking lot onto Church St. Right onto S. Clayton St., Left onto Luckie St., continue onto Stone Mt. St. right onto Constitution Blvd. Left onto Nash...Left onto Green St. continue onto Church St. to City Hall parking lot.
