Half Marathon and 5k Fun Run

Join the fun and show us your super power at the annual MAINEiacs Charities Half-Marathon and 5k.  New this year will be a Super Hero 5k Fun Run—choose your favorite superhero and run faster than a speeding bullet! Runners and walkers are welcome to participate in the 5k course.  Prizes are awarded for best individual and team costumes so go ahead and rock out that cape, shield, or sword. Plus, you’ll feel like a superhero when race proceeds benefit your local MAINEiacs Charities.  At the end of the event, join us for basic refreshment, a super hero photo booth, music and prizes.

The Half Marathon is sanctioned by the USATF.

Strollers are allowed on the 5K route.

Awards will be given as followed:

Top overall male and female finishers along with the top team

Best individual and team costumes

Top male and female age group finishers

Age groups are 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over. 

Event details and schedule

Early registration/package pick-up will also take place at Gold's Gym on Saturday, 24 September from 4pm - 6pm. 

Both races start at 8am on Sunday morning, 25 September 2016.  Day of registration and check-in/package pick-up will take place in front of Gold's Gym from 630am - 8am.

Parking is available behind the Holiday Inn.
