The Fred Five...

• 1 Mile Run / Walk:- Run 1 Mile
• 5K Run / Walk:- Run 3.1 Miles

The Fred Five 5k run/walk is held every fall in the beautfiul riverside town of Washburn, North Dakota.  This is a family-friendlly event that also draws a few competitive runners.  Particpants have the option of doing a full 5k run/walk or a 1-mile run/walk.  These events are followed by races for the kids on Washburn's track.  The Fred Five is a charity event with proceeds going towards the research of the deadly infant liver disease GALD (Gestational Allloimmune Liver Disease).  Over the past 3 years we have raised over $30,000 for this cause, and have had a lot of fun doing it!
