Bimbo Bakeries is hosting its 2nd Annual Global Energy Race on September 25th, 2016.

                       22 Countries, 37 Cities, 1 Race.

Philadelphia is one of four lucky cities in the U.S., that will be participating in this Global event. Penn's Landing is the waterfront area of Center City along the Delaware River which will play host to our Philadelphia race this year. The race will kick off right next to the Great Plaza which is one of the city's premier locations for outdoor concerts and festivals. This race location offers panoramic views of the Philadelphia skyline, the Delaware River, and the Ben Franklin Bridge as well as a unique waterfront ambiance.

Whether you're a competitive runner or looking to come out with your family and enjoy a morning of fun and games, this race is for you! Global Energy offers a 10K route the competitive runners looking for a USATF certified course or a 3K route perfect for those looking to walk the scenic course with their friends.

10K Individual:

$20 early registration (June 1st- June 30th)

$30 open registration (July 1st-August 31st)

$40 open registration (September 1st-23rd)

$45 onsite registration day of the race (September 25th)

3K Individual:

$10.00 early registration (June 1st- June 30th)

$15.00 open registration (July 1st- August 31st)

$20.00 open registration (September 1st- 23rd)

$25.00 onsite registration day of race (September 25th)

3K Group/Team: (Min 4 & up to 5 members)

$20.00  team price) open registration (June 1st- August 31st)

Will be offered in advance of the race but location is TBD

Course Info:

10K- Will be a USATF certified course. Chip timing will be used for this distance.

Parking:

Paid parking will be available at one of the several Penn's Landing parking lots.

Registration:

All participants will receive:

10K FIRST PLACE PRIZING

         One (1) First Place Men’s and one (1) First Place Women’s Award:

A trip for award recipient and one (1) guest to participate in the 2017 Global Energy Race of his/her choice in one of the following cities: Long Beach, Philadelphia, Phoenix or Orlando, USA; Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Mérida, Puebla, or Veracruz, Mexico; Panama City, Panamá, San José, Costa Rica; Tegucigalpa, Honduras; Managua, Nicaragua; San Salvador, El Salvador; Guayaquil, Ecuador; Guatemala City, Guatemala; Caracas, Venezuela; Cartagena, Cali, or Pereira, Colombia; Buenos Aires, Argentina; Santiago, Chile; Asunción, Paraguay; Lima, Perú; Montevideo, Uruguay; Florianopolis, Sao Paulo, Belo Horizonte, or Brasilia, Brazil; Lisboa, Portugal; Barcelona or Madrid, Spain; Beijing, China; Sheffield, United Kingdom; or Hamilton or Calgary, Canada.

Trip includes round-trip coach air transportation for award recipient and one (1) guest from major gateway airport nearest award recipient’s residence (as determined by Promoter) to the destination city, two (2) nights standard hotel accommodations (one (1) room, double occupancy), ground transportation to/from airport/hotel and hotel/race location, registration for winner and guest to participate in the applicable the 2017 Global Energy Race, and breakfast, lunch and dinner for winner and guest while on trip (exact location and cost of each meal to be determined by Promoter and its subsidiaries, in their sole discretion).
