Buffalo Battle Odessa...

COME FOR THE PARTY, STAY FOR THE RACE! Come accept the challenge of crawling, running, jumping, climbing, wallowing in mud in a challenging competitive mood and then enjoying some good suds after Buffalo Battle at Odessa Mountian Bike Park in Odessa, TX.

Event details and schedule

Wave Starts:

Participants choose their designated wave time at the time of registration.  Waves start every 30 minutes.

Participants are responsible for knowing the Buffalo Battle start time and check-in method.

Participants are encouraged to report to their assigned starting location at least 15 minutes prior to the start of their wave.

Waves of up to 200 entrants will start at the following times: 

10:00 Elite Timed Wave 
10:30
11:00

Packet will be available the day before at a designated place in the race city, and will also be available on site, 8:30am-9:45am. For your convenience and to help our wonderful volunteers, we encourage you to pick up your packet the day before.

*Your packet will include your race bib, safety pins (race belts may be used and furnished by you), cool T-shirt, and any other neat things furnished by the Battle Generals.

What To Bring At Packet Pick-Up:

1. Your photo mug shot is a must, you must be YOU to pick up our packet, NO imposters are welcome.

2. A change of clothes is recommended but really up to you.

3. An initialed, signed, and dated copy of the entrant waiver. This is not-optional and must be done before you are accepted as a racer in this event.

4.This is an individual event and each entrant is required to pick up their own packets.  No pick up by friends is permitted.

When To Arrive on Race Day:

Please take into consideration what you have to do to get in place to race: park, pick up packet (if not done earlier), place your bib and chip on, and find your way to the starting line. We recommend you give yourself at least an hour before wave time to get this done.  Parking will be available close to the event start/finish area.   We recommend car pooling if you have at least one friend!! Gear Check will be available at the packet pickup area. You can leave the stuff you will not carry while racing.  Please put your name, cell phone and race number on your bag before leaving it with the volunteer.  It is your option to use this or not and your option as to what you might leave at this tent.
