5th ANNUAL FT. BEND FAIR PARADE 5K
The 5th Annual Fort Bend Fair Parade 5K will be held Friday, September 23, 2016. The course is flat and will be lined with spectators from start to finish. This event goes to a great cause and will raise funds for FBCFA Scholar-ships as well as the Rosenberg Lions Club Charities fund. The Rosenberg Lions Club Charities provides scholar-ships to local high school seniors as well as assists with contributions made to local charities in Fort Bend County as well as the Texas Lions Camp in Kerrville, Texas. The run is open to all runners and walkers, no pets please. REGISTER EARLY TO ASSURE AVAILABILITY OF RACE TECH SHIRT.
The start line will be located at Jackson Street (US 90A) & 4th Street in Richmond, Texas
Finish line and awards celebration will be located at the Walgreens in Rosenberg located at Jennetta & US 90A (across from Amergy Bank)
The run/walk will follow the parade route, so be prepared to have transportation back to your vehicle if it was left at the start line. Walkers are welcome, but they must be aware that the parade will start on time and they must stay ahead of the front of the parade. The middle of the course will have a 1/2 mile loop, if there are any slower walkers they will be directed to bypass the loop to assure we don’t interfere with the parade. Each participant must fill out the waiver for the parade to participate in the run/walk which is located on the Fort Bend County Fair Association web page under Special Events/Parade/2015 Parade Participant Release of Liability document. The forms will have to be notorized. We will have a notary available at the early packet pickup on Thursday September 24th and the morning of the race. The run will start on time so make sure you come early, there will be added traffic with the parade participants around the staging.
You will be notified at a later date as to the location and times of the early packet pickup.

Race start time will be 8:45 am
