Gotta Catch Em All Pokemon GO-Inspired 5k and Fun Run

• 1 Mile Walk:- Run 1 Mile
• 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

Pokemon and Pokemon GO fans!!! Join us for our FIRST Pokemon-inspired, "Gotta Catch 'Em All," 5k PokeRun and Fun Run at the Georgia Veterans Memorial State Park at Lake Blackshear! Held in conjunction with 'Your State Parks Day,' entry and parking are FREE! Event festivities begin at 3:00 pm with packet pick-up and registration check-in and continue until 9:00 pm. The Fun Run/Walk begins at 5:30 pm, followed by the 5k race at 6:00 pm. To get everyone in the spirit, we encourage participants to dress in their best Pokemon-inspired costume for our costume contest! Judging will begin at 4:00 pm, and prizes will be award for the Top 3 costumes! We'll also be dropping lures at each Pokestop in the park from 4:00 - 9:00 pm. 

Are you on a team? Then join our Team Challenge!! The team with the most registrations for each event will earn a special team award, available to the first 100 registrants! 

Our charitable partners for this event are Second Chance Pets and Lake Blackshear Animal Rescue. These awesome organizations will also be hosting "Pets in the Park" earlier in the day, so bring your furbaby out to enjoy the festivities!
