Join Fort Hamilton & FMWR to run in memory of those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice.

On October 1st, Fort Hamilton MWR will host the "Run for the Fallen" 6K race, starting at John Paul Jones (Cannonball) Park, at 101st Street  between 4th Avenue and Fort Hamilton Parkway.

The Fort Hamilton family invites you to join in memorializing those who have lost their lives in the armed services. All registered runners will be provided with souvenir T-shirts and can wear the name of their fallen service member on their runners' bib. 

All proceeds of the event will go to support Fort Hamilton Survivor Outreach Services.

Event details and schedule

The 6K course is runner, walker and stroller-friendly. Runners and walkers are welcome to bring their children. An escort will accompany participants from Cannonball Park across the street to the Shore Road Promenade, where the race begins. Participants will run along the Shore Road Promenade for 2 miles, turn around at the 69th Street Pier, and return to the starting point.
