13th Annual HICF Positively Pink 5K...

• 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

Registration will begin at 9:00 am. The race begins at 10:00 a.m.

Come walk, run, or just join in for the fun and festivities in support of our neighbors on Hatteras Island who are battling cancer. The course is a 5k race (3.1 miles) through beautiful Kinnakeet Shores in Avon, NC.

Participants are encouraged to wear pink in support of October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month! A prize will go to the most “pinked out” participant.

The Hatteras Island Cancer Foundation is a non-profit, all-volunteer group. All proceeds go to help Hatteras Island residents battling cancer pay for treatment that is not covered by insurance and for transportation to and from treatment.

Awards presented to top 3 M/F finishers and top 3 finishers in each age group.
